Brian Avery, a server at Buffalo Wild Wings in Tacoma, Washington got an unusual request from a customer -- one that may leave you both hungry for wings, and with a little something in your eye.

The woman, dressed in her military uniform, ordered a Blue Moon and a Corona. When Avery explained that he could only serve one beer at a time, the woman told him that she wouldn't be drinking the Corona. She had ordered that beer for her brother, a fallen soldier who lost his life in Iraq.

"It just sat next her at a empty seat her entire Lunch... "

Buffalo Wild Wings paid for the beer, and the woman wrote a note on her receipt expressing her gratitude.

"Thank you. An act of kindness goes a long way," she said. "It means a lot to me. Have a great rest of your day."

Avery said he didn't have the heart to pour the beer out after the woman left the restaurant, and placed it on top of a cooler next to an American flag. When he shared the story with his boss, he was instructed to put a fresh lime in the beer every morning.
