Bride’s ‘Something Blue’ is her 92-Year-Old Vet Uncle

She said that it was an "honor" and a memory that will last a lifetime.

Allison Ferrell's 92-year-old Uncle Bill is a WWII veteran. He served at Okinawa, and after a bout in the hospital with pneumonia, revealed to one of the nurses that his goal was to serve as his niece's "something blue" in her upcoming wedding.

On May 13th, he made that happen. He was escorted, in his dress blues, down the aisle in a wheelchair. And the pictures? OMG. Allison says that there wasn't a dry eye in the house - and I think somebody is cutting onions right now, too.
