UPDATE: Police Situation Has Ended On Hill Road

Hill road between Jennings and Linden in Mundy Township was under lock-down due to a police situation involving a gunman barricaded in his home. The gunman has taken his own life.

According to WNEM TV5, earlier this afternoon, U.S. Postal Service investigators along with Mundy Township Police officers arrived at a home on Hill Road between Jennings and Linden. As investigators came into the house, shots were fired. We have since learned that the 65-year-old man gunman has taken his own life.

The whole neighborhood area was on lock-down and officials are asking people to please stay in their homes and away from the area.
