Kevin is the brand new hall monitor and anxiety-calmer at the school, which is between Charlevoix and Petoskey, and everybody loves him.

The principal, Mike Wilson, said that they gave Kevin about a week-long trial run, and it went so well that he's now a full-time member of the staff.

Parents of some of the middle school students have said that it comforts their kids to be able to say "hi" to Kevin in the hallways, and for students who are having a particularly bad day, they'll take Kevin outside to do his business or walk him around the building.

Kevin is currently in training to be a therapy dog, and the school plans to have him back next year after his training is complete.
