A 15-year-old boy with special needs has been rejected by the Eagle Scout program, and his family says the merit badges he's already earned are no longer going to be recognized.

The father of Logan Blythe says his son worked for years to earn dozens of Boy Scout badges. Logan, who has down syndrome and autism, worked diligently toward becoming an Eagle Scout. He was accepted into the program but was then was told that the decision had been reversed.

"We had all this planned, and 24 hours later we get a text message saying 'we should have never said you were approved," Chad Blythe said.
