Boy Gets Detention for Breast Cancer Shirt

There have been several stories the past few months about schools banning breast cancer bracelets and shirts and here's another incident that happened at a school in Missouri. A boy got stuck in detention for three days for wearing a breast cancer t-shirt that said "Big or small, we save them all" but administrators were not happy about the shirt.

The boy says he was wearing the shirt to support a friend of his who is going through cancer. His mom is mad at the school and says they should have told him to turn it inside out, instead of giving him detention. I think the school has other issues to worry about and overreacted.
