Flint's Bishop International Airport is known for being "the smart way to fly." Well now it may also be known as an easier way to fly!

The Transportation Security Administration has selected Bishop for its pre-check program. ABC 12 says that the program has been around since 2011 at major airports and is now expanding to medium-size airport. Passengers who have been pre-screened (for more on how to apply click here) will be able to go through special security lines and keep their shoes, jackets and belts on. It should speed up the process.

Bishop is now the third airport in the state to be part of the TSA pre-check program. Passengers flying American Airlines, Delta, Southwest and United can be eligible. Each week, more than 5 million passengers use the program at other airports. Nice to see that its now available in Flint!
