Perhaps you have been following the Tour de France on television and wondered what it would be like to watch or even participate in a bicycle race.  Sunday, July 22nd in downtown Flint you'll get your opportunity.

The Crim Fitness Foundation and Hurley Medical Center bring you Le Champion Pave (named after AC Sparkplug founder Albert Champion) Criterium.  The races will be held on a one-mile block starting and finishing on Saginaw St. on the bricks.

Whether you are a professional rider or a beginner, you can participate in a Le Champion Pave event.  They also offer a handcycle event, a kids ride and community ride.   I have been to this event, and bicycle racing is exciting to watch!
