Bette Midler Sings To Dying Fan In Hospital-Keep The Tissues Handy [VIDEO]

Get the tissues ready. Bette Midler made the wish of a dying fan come true.  When longtime Bette Midler fan Anna Greenberg was dying of a rare form of cancer, she received a call from the singer in the hospital (the two had met at a film screening).

In the call, Midler says, "You're such a wonderful soul and I am so glad that I got the chance to meet you. You have enhanced my life probably as much as you say I have enhanced yours." Greenberg asked Midler if she would sing "Wind Beneath My Wings" to her. Midler answered, "Of course, angel," and sang (at around 5:10). Greenberg died shortly after this video was filmed. She was 28 years old.
