But here's the brass tax - Michigan comes in at #33 out of 50. So, bottom half. Improvements can be made. But, we're not Louisiana at the bottom of the list, so there's that.

We rank 38th in the country for quality of healthcare, 42nd for education, and (no surprise here) 41st for infrastructure.

HOWEVER...let's look at some positives. We have the lowest prison overpopulation in the entire country, and we rank 12th for opportunity. We also rank 2nd for affordability of living.
