Bee Gees Singer Robin Gibb Dead at 62 [VIDEO]

It's been a bad week for disco, with Donna Summer passing away on Thursday, and now Bee Gees singer Robin Gibb losing his battle with cancer. Gibb was 62, and had been fighting colon and liver cancer.

His family expressed great sadness in a statement earlier today.

"The family of Robin Gibb, of the Bee Gees, announce with great sadness that Robin passed away today following his long battle with cancer and intestinal surgery," reads the statement. "The family have asked that their privacy is respected at this very difficult time."

His twin brother Maurice, another one-third of the 70s super group preceded him in death in 2003.

If I had to pick, I'd say 'Jive Talkin'' would be my favorite from the Brothers Gibb. What's yours?
