After years of being in the sun I've developed brown spots as a result of tanning. I always worry that my skin is getting so bad that I'm going to look 10 years older than I really am. So with my love of sun I started changing up my skin and makeup routine so I can reduce those wrinkles and brown spots while making my skin feel younger and healthier. After all, who doesn't want to look and feel 10 years younger?

    Face Wash/Moisturizing

I eventually changed face soaps and I'm a big fan of Oil of Olay foaming cleanser. I used to use a face scrub soap but I was told they are actually harsher on your face. Of course after washing my face I like to put some moisturizer on my face. Usually any product will do but two of my favorite ones are Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing and Sephora's Flawless Moisturizing lotion. I also use Oil of Olay's Sensitive Moisturizer Therapy Cream for sensitive skin.

    Skin Corrector

Earlier I mentioned the brown spots from the sun so you could use any kind of skin tone corrector. Another favorite of mine is the Even Better Skin Tone Corrector from Clinique. It won't remove the spots completely, but it does lighten them up. It will work better if you use it in the fall and winter when you're not in the sun.

    Eyes

Ladies we all know that nothing is worse than circles under the eyes or baggy eyes. Any kind of eye cream would work and they have ones you can put on during the day and creams to use at nights on your eyes. Again I'm a big fan of Clinique so I like the All About Eyes product. Sephora also has another good eye product but I can't remember the exact name. Or do it the old fashioned way by using cucumbers over the eyes. You could always use a damp wash cloth which reduces redness and puffy eyes. All it takes is 10 minutes to reduce the puffiness.

    Face Masks

If you can't get to the spa, I always like to treat my skin to a mud mask every now and again. Any product works and in the past I've used the True Blue Spa face mask from Bath and Body Works. You could use anything for the face mask but that's just one that I really like.

    Smooth Skin

Now this isn't makeup related, but I found this last remedy online to make your skin feel smooth and clear. It's going to sound weird but I've tried it and it works. Dip a wash cloth in milk and put it on your face for about 15-20 minutes and then rinse off. It will smell but it seriously works! You will also want to immediately throw the wash cloth in the washer because that will really start to smell if you leave it out to dry.
