The John Glenn High School choir had just performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

The students and other passengers on the plane were waiting patiently for mechanical issues to be fixed on Delta flight 2807 on Monday. Passengers were starting to get agitated, so the flight crew invited the choir from John Glenn to sing.

They performed "Happy Birthday" to a passenger, and then followed it with Frank Sinatra's "New York, New York."

Beautiful! And a great way to calm everybody down. The power of music, indeed.
