Baby Sea Lion Comes Aboard For Snuggles And A Nap [Video]

J.R. Gilkinson knew not to approach sea lions, but what do you do when a baby sea lion crawls on to your boat?

Gilkinson was boating just a couple of miles off New Port Beach, California, when they came across the baby in the water. The little guy wriggled his way on to the boat and enjoyed the warm sun as he nuzzled J.R. and took a nap.

The encounter lasted for about an hour, and Gilkinson insists that it was all on the baby sea lion's terms.

"It was one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had," he told Huffington Post.
