A guy from Jefferson Parish, L.A. recently got out of prison after 30 years. He was wrongfully convicted and the judge says he's entitled to compensation for the 30 years he spent in prison. So now the state has to pay for this, but is it right? Should states be responsible or the jury? Take the poll after the jump.
Congratulations goes to Mrs. Reeves who teaches Young 5's at West Shore Elementary in Lake Fenton. Mrs. Reeves received goodies from Great Harvest Bread for being selected in our Teacher Honor Roll campaign

Kids would probably benefit the most of out of a new movie called "Bully," but it's rated R so they'll only be able to see it with a parent or guardian. One Michigan girl is trying to change the rating because she believes everyone has a right to see this powerful movie.
She has even started an online petition to get the Motion Picture Association of America to make the movie PG-13, but they argue this movie should be more for the parents to see.
Would you believe that stealing Tide detergent is on the rise right now? This latest crime wave has some stores like CVS locking the detergent so thieves can't steal it. I haven't watched "My Strange Addiction" on TLC, but I really think I need to start watching. There's a girl who appeared on the show who is addicted to gasoline and drinks up to 12 teaspoons of gas a day.
