The International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) is asking for help with koalas that were injured in South Australian bushfires - they need mittens. The organization is asking people to make simple cotton mittens to help the injured koalas. Their injuries require burn cream and their paws need to be protected. IFAW says that koalas often perish in these bushfires, and the ones who don't are badly injured from running away.

AJ said she's gonna spend the weekend making mittens for the koalas. You can get the pattern HERE. Here's the full story as well.
