The morning show team from Australia whose prank is involved in the suicide of a nurse at Kate Middleton's hospital last week is comprised of Mel Greig and Michael Christian. They gave an interview to 'A Current Affair' after the suicide and spoke of their regrets.

The morning show team was actually surprised that they even got through to the hospital. They were so surprised that they didn't even have questions prepared for if they did get through. "It's not anything that anyone could have ever imagined was going to happen," said Christian. Greig added, "My first question was, 'Was she a mother?'"

. "Not for a second did we expect to even speak to Kate, let alone have a conversation with anyone at the hospital, "We wanted to be hung up on.", said Greig.

The morning show team is no longer on the air. Their station company released a statement:

Chief executive officer Rhys Holleran has spoken with the presenters. They are both deeply shocked and at this time we have agreed that they not comment about the circumstances. SCA and the hosts have decided that they will not return to their radio show until further notice out of respect for what can only be described as a tragedy.
