Atwood Stadium Open House – Fireworks, Food and a Parade TONIGHT

Head on down to Kettering University's Atwood Stadium later today/tonight for their open house!

Here's the schedule:

-Food trucks and games from 3-5 PM

-Parade featuring Beecher and Flint Northwestern High Schools and local dignitaries at 5 PM

-Ira Rutherford Classic featuring Beecher and Flint Northwestern ($5 admission) at 7 PM

-fireworks following the game

Lots of great stuff for families to come check out the renovated stadium, including goal kicking competitions and lawn games.

“The renovation and grand re-opening of Atwood Stadium on our campus represents a significant milestone in the ongoing rebirth of the city of Flint,” said Dr. Robert K. McMahan, President of Kettering. “We invite the entire community to join us in celebration of the amazing institution that is Atwood and to help us mark as a community the beginning of the next exciting chapter in the life of this legendary facility.”
