Ashley Seymour, Blind Flint Runner, Receives ElliptiGO Bike

Congratulations, Ashley! And THANK YOU to everybody who voted for her!

Earlier this month, we told you about Ashley Seymour, the blind Flint runner who was in the running (pun intended) for a national contest to win an ElliptiGO bike for her training.

Ashley runs all of her 5K/10K/10 mile races with a guide, but she said she'd love to be able to train indoors, alone, during the winter. So, one of her guides nominated her to win the bike.

Thanks to support from the community and online voting, Ashley was one of the winners! She was presented with her bike yesterday at the Complete Runner in Flint, and invited those who got the word out about the contest to attend. Thanks for the invite! And CONGRATS! Enjoy your indoor training!
