The second Friday of every month is Artwalk in downtown Flint.  The festivities take place from 6-9 pm at several downtown venues.  I like to start at the Greater Flint Arts Council headquarters on Saginaw (next to Halo Burger) to grab a map of participating locations.

Did I mention that Artwalk is FREE?  It is.  Most venues also provide snacks and beverages.  Some have live music or other forms of entertainment.  All is free of charge.  Artwalk is a great way to start your weekend, not to mention a great bargain.

This Friday, Artwalk will adopt a Back to the 80's theme in conjunction with the upcoming Crim Festival of Races.

Enjoy plenty of art from local and national artists, and see downtown Flint alive and thriving during Artwalk.
