Are These Detroit Lions For Real?

It has been a long, long time since the Detroit Lions started a season at 2-0. Some years they didn't even win two games in an entire season. Who could forget 0-16 just a few years ago? And now, after a 48-3 thrashing of the Kansas City Chiefs, the Lions look like Super Bowl contenders. Already this year they have a win on the road (at Tampa Bay last week), and their home opener yesterday had the crowd roaring with delight. Things only get tougher for the Lions as they head to Minnesota to take on the Vikings who are 0-2 and in desperate need of a win.The Lion faithful have waited a long time to see quality football from this team, and maybe, just maybe, this is the year of the Lion!
