Angela Rockwood, thought her modeling career was over when a car accident took away the use of most her arms and all of her legs, leaving her in a wheel chair. Today, her dreams come true according to People Stylewatch, as she becomes the new face for the ad campaign of a major retail store.

Angela, who identifies herself as a paraplegic, lost the use most of her arms and all of her legs in a car accident eleven years ago. She thought her modeling career was over. "After my accident, modeling didn't even cross my mind." said Angela, who is now 37. She has been starring in a show called "Push Girls" which airs on Sundance Channel. Maybe it's the popularity of that show, maybe it's our ever evolving definition of beauty, maybe it's a little of both, but Angela has been announced today as the new face of a major advertising campaign for Nordstrom.

You will be able to see the full ad campaign during the season finale of Push Girls on the Sundance Channel.

Angela is beautiful and inspiring. I am so proud of Nordstrom for using a positive role model like her to represent them in a national ad campaign! Watch a snippet of her below.
