This remarkable couple is celebrating their 81st wedding anniversary together today.

Their marriage came with a bit of drama back in 1932. Ann's father had planned that his 17 year-old daughter marry a man 20 years older, but she was in love with the boy that lived across the street. That boy was 21 year-old John. He used to drive Ann to school everyday in his Ford Roadster. He jokes to this day that Ann married him because she loved that car.

They eloped on November 25, 1932 and this year John at the age of 102 and Ann, 98 were named as America's longest married couple by Worldwide Marriage Encounter.

John and Ann have lost two children to cancer but treasure 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Their oldest daughter is 80 years-old.

"We have watched the world change together." says John. "The key is to always agree with your wife."

After 81 years of marriage, the couple finish each other's sentences. "We'll be together forever." says John as Ann adds "somewhere we will be."
