American Idol’s, Paul McDonald, Twilight’s,Nikki Reed Engaged – Really?

Well, that was fast.  Does Nikki Reed have any taste at all?  I cannot believe that she would agree to marry only after a few months of dating, let alone agree to marry Paul McDonald.  What is she thinking?

Sources for E! Online have confirmed that former 'American Idol' contestant Paul McDonald and 'Twilight' star Nikki Reed are engaged after just a few months of dating.

The couple, who met in March at the premiere of 'Red Riding Hood,' appeared together at Sunday night's MTV Movie Awards, where Reed, 23, was seen sporting a sparkly ring on her wedding finger.

"He's the one," Reed said of her 26-year-old singer-boyfriend.

Reed added that McDonald has been writing songs for her and that "he's going to release a Nikki Reed EP."

Wedding song, anyone?
