I think that American Eagle very wisely learned from Abercrombie & Fitch's mistake.

You can't...and shouldn't hold consumers to just one ideal body type. The real world doesn't work that way.

Have you ever passed by, or through an American Eagle store in the mall and thought that you were lacking in some way? Not young enough, not tall enough, not blonde enough...never thin enough.

I know that I have, even when I was at my lowest weight. I'm sure that a lot of women, no matter the age, have shared that brief moment of despair as they wandered back out of the store, too disheartened to even try any thing on.

American Eagle obviously learned from Abercrombie's & Fitch's huge blunder, and I think this ad campaign is a fantastic step in the right direction towards establishing a healthier, more realistic female beauty.

Give it a look and tell us what you think.
