Amazon to Sell $10 Gift Cards for $5, One Day Only

Amazon is offering consumers an opportunity to buy $10 gift cards for $5, as a way of promoting its new AmazonLocal daily deals service.

AmazonLocal has not yet branced into Michigan, however consumers can still take advantage of the promotion, and purchase an Amazon gift card for half off on Tuesday (March 20th) only. The card will be good on all Amazon merchandise, but shoppers will need to use amazonlocal.com in order to redeem them. The offer is limited to one per person.

AmazonLocal is one of many services that offers different deals each day, similar to Cars 108's 'Seize The Deal' program. Seize The Deal features daily deals for local restaurants and retailers, usually at 50% off or more. (This weekend's deal, for example, is a $10 gift certificate to Thompson Creek Turkey Farm on Hill Rd.)
