Any situation involving a missing child is both frightening and heartbreaking. But through the help of vigilant members of society, many kids are returned home. That being said, police need your help.

Ten-month-old Bernard Short from Indianapolis has been missing since October 14th, 2013.  Authorities believe that he was kidnapped by his mother, Sheneka Dunn, who has limited visitation rights. She is from Flint and police believe she is on her way, if she is not already here.

Keep an eye out for a silver car with Michigan plates, and look for Sheneka. She has black hair, brown eyes, stands 5'6" tall and weighs 139 pounds. She has piercings in her ears, nose and upper lip, and has tattoos on her neck. She was last seen with her hair dyed multiple colors.

Bernard is 22 pounds, 2'3" and also has brown hair and brown eyes. If you have any information, please contact the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department at (317) 327-3811, or call the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 1-800-THE-LOST (800-843-5678).
