A “Smoke-Free” Salute To One Of Their Own
Hometown Home Health & Hospice in Lapeer will become a “Smoke-Free Campus” beginning November 1st, in honor of one of their employees who is suffering from Stage 3 Lung Cancer.
They will have a “Tree Planting Ceremony” on November 1st from 11-12noon, to help provide a daily reminder of their commitment to the health initiative. A Hometown Home Health & Hospice worker faces 6 months of chemotherapy and radiation treatments to help fight the cancer. At the “Tree Planting Ceremony” there will be cider and donuts provided. It happens at 1681 Woodbridge Park Drive in Lapeer. There is also a spaghetti dinner fundraiser planned for November 10th to help with extensive medical costs.
