A Man Named Bart Simpson is On Trial And Mr. Burns is The Judge
If you're a fan of "The Simpsons," you're going to want to keep a very close eye on a totally minor trial in Warwickshire, England.
A 56-year-old man is in court this week on charges of carrying a .38-caliber Smith & Wesson revolver in an airport last year. That man's name? Barton "Bart" Simpson. And the name of the judge presiding over the case? Mr. Burns. We don't have his first name. He's just listed with the court as "Mr. Recorder Burns."
Bart has filed a plea of not guilty.
