A Community Remembers Corinn Linkowski

People who didn't even know the teen from Goodrich who died this weekend after a tragic car accident are paying their own tributes.

We met Corinn's sister Genavieve last year, when she and her mom came into the Cars studio to talk about her journey on American Idol. One of the things they both talked about was how close-knit their family of 12 is, and how Corinn and Genavieve loved to sing together.

Corinn was actually a part of Grand Blanc's Rising Star competition back in 2016.

She was part of the worship team at her church in Grand Blanc and, along with being a singer, was a licensed cosmetologist.

After the accident last Wednesday, people have been remembering her life on social media and through her family.

Personally, for me, the most moving part of it all has been her family - more specifically, her mom, Tamara. Not only has she expressed the desire to meet the person who accidentally hit her daughter's car...

...but they've also donated her organs.

Her friends decorated the Flint Rock in her memory yesterday.

Her funeral will be live-streamed from Bethany Baptist Church tomorrow.

I'm in awe of this family's strength throughout this last week, and everybody here at Cars 108 sends our love to the Linkowski clan.
