Rotten Tomato Fight Saturday at Kettering U.
October 18, 2011 Here's something you don't get a chance to do every day. Kettering University's Interfraternity Council is hosting a 100-person tomato fight at 10:30 Saturday morning in the field behind the Kettering Recreation Center. Rotten tomatoes, donated by vendors from the Flint Farmer's Market will be thrown at opposing participants. A $5 entry fee will be charged to raise money to replace flood-damaged equipment at Durant Tuuri Mott Elementary School.

Prostate Cancer Awareness Month Fundraiser Scheduled
September 7, 2011 September is "Prostate Cancer Awareness Month". A golf fundraiser to honor Larry Sarver is being held to help raise funds for prostate cancer research, and for providing scholarships for Kettering University students.Larry Sarver had just retired after 33 years at Kettering when diagnosed with prostate cancer. He lost his battle against it in 2005.
