General Motors Recall 550,000 Mini Vans
388108 02: An Oldsmobile Silhouette mini van is parked on a street April 20, 2001 in Boston, MA. General Motor Corp. has announced that they are recalling more than 550,000 1997-2001 Chevrolet, Pontiac and Oldsmobile mini vans over concerns about latches on the vehicles” power sliding doors. The auto maker said Friday it has fielded no reports of accidents or injuries involving the questioned, optional passenger-side doors on the affected Chevrolet Venture, Pontiac Trans Sport/Montana and Oldsmobile Silhouette vans.
