A short video documentary about a 96-year-old's love song is going viral.

A 95-year-old Peoria man isn’t a musician, but the lyrics he put on paper are now being shared with the world.Green Shoe Studio in Illinois held a Singer Songwriter contest, asking local musicians to upload their original songs to YouTube and send them a link. What they didn't expect was an entry in the contents of a large manila envelope sent in the mail from a 96-year-old named Fred Stobaugh. Fred had written a song about the love of his life, his late wife named Lorraine.

One of the sweetest moments in the video is when Fred gets to hear the recorded song for the first time. Watch the short video story of Fred below.
