A teenager called 911 after her father and his fiance were struck by a car, and she was told to "stop whining" over the phone.

Rick Warrick, 38, and his fiance were changing a tire on the highway, halfway between Washington & Baltimore last weekend, when they were struck by a car. The driver of the car drove away, leaving Warrick dead on the side of the road.

His two children were in the car, and his13-year-old daughter called 911. The operator seemed frustrated with her, and told her to "stop yelling" and "stop whining," and then asked to speak to somebody else.

I understand that everybody has a bad day once in a while. But when you're dealing with a child who is watching their parent die, you may want to think twice about your choice of words. Those poor kids! :(
