Kennedy has been battling a rare form of brain cancer for more than half his life. When faced with yet another surgery, Ryan told his mom, "No. I told you, Mom, I don't want to do anything anymore."

Kimberly Morris-Karp said her son "literally screamed and cried in hysterics, saying, 'I'm done. I'm done with this.'"

The family is respecting Ryan's wishes, and booked a family vacation. Ryan is not expected to live to see his 10th birthday on May 24th.
