$60,000 Solid Gold Cell Phone

digitalmoneyworld, Flickr

Would you buy a phone that was solid gold? A Danish company is selling a limited edition 18-carat gold phone, but there’s no way for you to be able to access email, internet, games or a navigation system. It will cost you just under $60,000 and the company plans to sell it to Russia’s elite. In a news story on Yahoo, the company said they wanted to treat this phone as a collector’s item and not so much to use as an every day phone. So, would you spend this kind of money on a collector’s item?
