It had always been Michael and Trudi Hardeman's dream to take their six children to Disneyworld. That dream was cut tragically short on the way there.

The family, from Texas, was driving through Louisiana en route to Disneyworld in Orlando when their vehicle veered off the road and rolled over. At the time of the crash, the couple's 16-year-old son was driving. Police officers say he fell asleep at the wheel.

Three of the children and both parents were killed in the accident; the driver was wearing his seat belt. None of the other passengers were wearing their seat belts. The driver and two of the passengers suffered minor injuries.

The driver was charged with reckless operation of a vehicle. Call me crazy, but I do NOT think he should be charged with anything, unless the toxicology reports show that he was under the influence. Isn't it bad enough that he'll have to live with this for the rest of his life? What do you think?
