Let's be honest, would you subscribe to a TV network just for dogs? DogTV, a cable network for dogs launched this week in San Diego. The idea is to make dogs happier and their lives more pleasant when they're home alone during the day.

There are 800 programs for dogs, with each one ranging between three and five minutes long. The programs are designed to relax, stimulate and expose dogs to situations they come across in daily life, like car rides and walks in the park. Other programs include moving objects, nature scenes with soothing music and dogs sleeping or resting.

If you want to subscribe to DogTV, it will cost you an extra $5 a month on your cable bill. I think this is pretty creative for your pets and the extra wouldn't be so bad. Would you subscribe?
