1930s MDOT Video Proves That Michigan Winters Sucked Back Then Too

Oh settle down, I'm just kidding. The video, posted on February 1st by the Michigan Department of Transportation, actually has a charming feel to it, showing us what winter was like back in the 1930s.

The black and white film was recently discovered by Nancy and Barbara Sleeper of Newberry. The sisters' grandfather, Sanborn Sleeper, was the superintendent of the Luce County Road Commission from 1928 until sometime around World War II, according to the YouTube description.
