It was Johnny Crow's first birthday without his dad. His father passed away in April, but had already purchased a special present for his son's 16th birthday.

The Port Huron teen read the card from his dad, and was moved to tears as he saw the Dean Razorback guitar his father had bought for him.

"I was definitely overjoyed that my father gave me one last thing to remember him by," the Port Huron High sophomore told the Times Herold. "I know a lot of kids don't get that."

Peter Kruse, owner of the Port Huron Music Center, tells the paper the boy's dad had ordered the guitar three months before his death, in order to make sure he got the exact model he wanted.
