Eight different households were told they had $100 to spend at the grocery store. Everyone's use of that $100 was very different.

The eight households were comprised of everything from single college students living on campus, to families with multiple small children. The $100 meant food for the week to some, and fun for a day or two for others. Most of us have been in situations where the $100 for groceries is our last $100 until our next payday, and you have to make it count. Most of us can also relate to splurging once and a while on things we didn't really need, it might not be a $62 bottle of wine, but we have all done it.
